Arena Football

# Always recover onside kicks

Turn off penalties at the game play settings menu. When kicking off, select the "Onside Kick" play. Kick the ball with a power of 10. Your opponent will not be able to recover, and you will not get called for Illegal Procedure. As long as you do not turn the ball over, you can stay on offense the entire game and shut the other team out.
# Better offense

In order to create more open passes, set "picks" for your other receivers in order to get them wide open. You can do this by controlling a wide receiver yourself and putting a pick on a defender; or you can set crosses, posts, curls, or flys by hot-routing other receivers near by. This usually works, and often has good results if you set the picks correctly. This is especially helpful when in need of a first down, near the endzone, or for a conversion.
# Better defense

If you control one of your linemen and hold Left Analog-stick Down before the snap, you will get a better jump on trying to get to the quarterback or fullback. If you want to prevent the deep pass or the run, a good play to use is Deep Pass. This is useful when the other team is inside their own ten on forth down and goes for it.
# Better kicks

When kicking, try and keep the Right Analog-stick straight when going from down to up. This allows for a more accurate kick instead of one that may end up out of bounds.
# Bonus teams

Successfully complete one of the following task to unlock the corresponding team. Note: The new teams will have their home stadium as the "Tiburon Arena" in Maitland, FL. Their original stadiums will not be available. Also, none of their original player names will be available, only the jersey numbers.

# Hidden Cave

After buying the Hidden Cave mini-game at the store, go to the practice table. Start a game, and point towards where the hidden cave is supposed to appear. From the break position, go to the right at about the 2 O'clock position and point at the cave located there. If done correctly, you will be able to select the map in the following step. Pause the game and select the "Inventory" option followed by "Sub Games". Then, select the Hidden Cave map. Answer "Yes" when prompted to quit the practice game. You should now be at the Hidden Cave, with a treasure chest with money. After reaching it the first time, it becomes unlocked at the main menu at the island rock.

Successfully complete the game to unlock the "New Game+" option. This allows you to start as Kharg with a King Statuette, 999 Spirit Stones, 3 Diamond Coatings, and 100,000 G; or Darc with a Romantic Stone, 999 Spirit Stones, 3 Diamond Coatings, 10 Bountiful Fruit, 50 Dilzweld Bombs, and 100,000 G.
# Burst Blade

When fighting against Darkham and his bodyguards, defeat Darkham first for Kharg's Burst Blade, which nearly doubles his attack arc width.
# Dragon's Wrath and Storm Medallion

When you fight the two giant dragons in Darc's story, kill the Golden Dragon for a Dragon's Wrath, which puts Darc's counterattack to 100, or the Silver Dragon for a Storm Medallion. If you want both items, take the extra time to steal from one dragon after killing the first.
# Golem Mask and Stuffed Bear

When you fight Bebedora and her two Altimas, it is a good idea to either kill the Altimas or steal from them to make sure you get Bebedora's Stuffed Bear and Maru's Golem Mask.
# Herbs

Use the following trick to get ten free Herbs. In Chapter 1 of Darc's story, after you get Densimo into your party go to the entrance of Gorma's House. Look to the left, and you will see a yellow skinny Orcon walking around. Talk to him and he will note that Densimo is in your party, causing him to start talking about the five Wonders of Orcoth. Pretend that you care about what he says and say that you will listen. He will ask you a few f times if you are still interested in listening. Lie and say "Yes". Eventually he will ask you how many words were in the spiel he just gave. Choose the one that reads 600-800 (the fourth choice) and he will give you ten Herbs. Note: You must do this while Densimo is in your party. Doing it before or after results in you obtaining nothing.
# Knuckle Guard

When playing as Kharg in the beginning of the game, after going through the entire Banjo, Lloyd, Spirit Stone scenes, go to the bottom-left of Yewbell to the refinery. Talk to the man outside and he will say he is waiting for Banjo so he can unlock the shop. He asks you to go find Banjo. Say "Yes", then go to the item shop. He will be in the upper-right corner. Talk to him, and he will give you the Knuckle Guard. It increases only Kharg's Defense and Guard,and it is a good weapon part at the beginning of the game. When you no longer want it, sell it for 350 G.
# Better aiming

To aim better without moving from your current position, when controlling your character, hold R1 during a battle. An arc will appear. The highlighted arc shows the range where you can attack. Aim at the enemy and attack.
# Aiming at multiple enemies

When enemies are close, you can actually attack them depending on your character's attacking arc. Some are large while others are small but ranged. Go to the position that you would like to attack from. Hold R1 and aim the arc at the enemies. Move the arc left or right to aim properly until you get "targets" above the enemies you want to attack. Sometimes you must quit aiming and move slightly to aim properly. Some require very slight adjustments; turn very slowly.
# Joint attack

You can do a joint attack on enemies whenever your character's body is burning with fire. You get this burning effect when you receive a certain amount of damage. When using that character to attack, a nearby ally will team up with you.
# Dealing more damage

Attacking the enemies from behind deals more damage than from up front. Use that angle of attack whenever possible.
# Get more skill/magic

When certain characters "class up" at the end of the battle screen, this indicates you can learn new skill or magic. Go to the menu, select the character that "classed up" and select "Skill". The magic/skill menu will appear, displaying both the learned magic/skill and skill/magics that have not been learned. Choose the one you want to learn and pay the "SP cost" to get it. Note: You get SP by attacking and , killing enemies.
# Easy experience

When in a battle and there are stumps, crates, etc., attack and destroy them. Sometimes you will get items and Spirit Stones. It is worth the extra effort because even if it is empty, you get experience and SP for them.
# Chest behind dog in Milmarma

You will need to have a bone to give to the dog, Rover. It can be obtained by checking the two rocks behind the old man in the small land platform leading to the palace. You will not get any item. It is just charity work to help little Rover get a new owner.
# Deikbeck impostors

Note: This can only be done as Kharg. When you encounter the impostors, they will ask if you believe that they are the real Deikbeck. Even though their names are spelled slightly different, do not believe them and choose the second answer. The first impostor is located in Parenz Ruins, while looking for the three materials required for the Tele-Op. You can find the impostor in the middle left corner of the area behind a large metal wall. You will get a Shadow Talisman. The second impostor is located in Peisus library. Once you have obtained the Lamda Sutra and have gone out, go back to the library. Go into the place where you got the Lamba Sutra and meet the second impostor. Tell him that you do not believe him and he will give you a quiz. Answer ten questions correctly and you will get a Spirit Amulet. Answer at least one correctly and you will get a Neuro Charge (can be bought in a shop inside the Flying Fortress) for your airship. The ten answers to the questionnaire from the Diekbeck imposter in the Library are as follows:

You will get a Diek Screw (makes Diekbeck very fast) if you answer less than five correctly, a Neutrino Chage (for Airship) and Clivis's Book (rids player of all abnormal status) if you answer between five and ten, and the Spirit Amulet (blocks Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, and Light attacks for Kharg to equip) if you answer all ten.
# Items

When fighting enemies such as the Delzweld soldiers, defeat the commanders first. They often carry equipment you can use or sell.

When you fight Cameillia, and afterwards Droguza, find the blue and green boxes on the battle field and break them open before ending the battle. The contents are well worth the effort.

When inside the Flying Castle, do not go directly to the elevators to fight the Divine Ruler. Instead, search each floor for the treasure rooms. There is powerful equipment for every character spread throughout the fortress.

Arc The Lad: End Of Darkness

# Easy Lilia card

Successfully complete Arc The Lad: Twilight Of The Spirits, then save the game when prompted. Once you start Arc The Lad: End Of Darkness with that memory card, you will be prompted to load from Arc The Lad: Twilight Of The Spirits. Respond "Yes", and after it loads you will receive the Lilia card.
# Better than Cure

Once you become an apprentice, make sure to have two Cures and four Magical Stones. Both can be bought in town of Yewbell for 200 gold each. Synthesize the Cure and Magical Stone to make Cure 2. Then, use Cure 2 and a Magical Stone to make Cure 3. Once this has been done, put the Cure 3s together to make Healing Card. The Healing Card will refill your HP at a rate of 10 every three seconds without wasting your card points. This will make the capture missions very easy, because you will be able to heal yourself just by moving to someplace where you will not get attacked for a bit. Also make sure that you use the Magic Expert to make the Cures and the Special Parts expert to make the Healing Card. Also, once you find a Universal Cloth, synthesize it with the Healing Card to make Healing Pygmy. It will heal 10 HP every two seconds. You can also make the Healing Card and then sell it repeatedly to make a profit of 300 gold each time.
# Get desired cards at lottery

When you go to use the lottery, first save your game. While at the lottery if you do not get the desired card, then reload your saved game and try again. This is an easy way to get all the character cards.
# Defeating Malademons

A good way to defeat a Malademon is by dodging its attacks (press Square to dodge) and continuing to attack it (press X and dodge). Keep doing this in a pattern: attack once, dodge, attack once, dodge, etc.

# Ape Movie Studio (Saru Cinema Studio) option

While playing the game, look for a camera with activation pads found in various levels. When the monkeys are not on high alert (yellow or less), step on the pad and press X to get an option to shoot a movie clip. Press X again to get the movie file. The Movie Studio option will be unlocked after all twenty movie files are unlocked, and will replace the "X" at the menu. The monkey studio is found in the Cimian Cinema area of the Shopping District. In the Japanese version, view at least eight Saru movie files in the Saru Cinema. The Saru Cinema Studio option will replace the "X" at the Saru Cinema main menu. Select this option to edit or create Saru movies.

You can keep going to another part of the level and returning. The cookies and life will be there again. Do this as many times as needed to get 99 lives. Note: The fastest way to do this is to wear your Super Hoop to move faster.
# Easy money

Go to the casino level. It helps to get rid of any black pants wearing monkeys in the first part of the level. Break open all of the slot machines in a counter-clockwise direction. After awhile you will meet a rat-looking enemy that takes your money when you run into it. Let him hit you and allow him to take your gold. Then, quickly hit him and all of your gold will be dropped. Grab all of it quickly; after you collect 5 gold pieces they turn to silver stars. After 5 silver stars, they turn into gold stars which are worth 10 gold pieces. Continue hitting the slots and you will find one more of these rats. Additionally, after you defeat Spector (Mech-Monkey Sub-Boss) and unlock the extra monkeys, go to the Simian Citadel level. Toward the end of this level, you will find a wizard-monkey named Tommy. If you do not catch him, he constantly creates enemies. One of these enemies is the rat thief. Let him steal your coins, then steal them back. You can use the Super Hoop to catch him. Keep repeating this until your coins are at 999. Note: even if you catch Tommy and save the game, you can still return in time trial mode to perform this trick.

Go to Casino City level and destroy the slot machines going left and around in a circle. Once all the slot machines are destroyed, leave the room and return. Destroy all the slot machines again and repeat if desired. Note: You may want do this after you catch all the monkeys in the level so that the monkeys with black pants and guns do not hurt you.
# No See-All Scope

After getting all 300 monkeys, enable the "Play as Spike" code. While playing as Spike, even though you have all the gadgets you do not have the See-All Scope which lets you find the monkeys you get with the Magic Punch gadget.

Go to the soundtracks area in the extras menu. Select either "Gotcha Rythmn" or "Monkeys Gonna Getchu". Listen to them to hear that they are switched.

Bombs: Just next to the light switch in King O'Sullivans Mines you will find another mouse cage. The bombs are your reward for winning the Pinky And The Brain mini-game.

Grass Skirt: This one is easy to miss -- go into Once Upon A Time. Find the dirt mound and shovel sign directly outside the entrance. Dig it up to find the skirt.

Magnifying Glass: Makes Chicken Boo's footprints visible. In Once Upon A Time is a mouse cage in the early areas of the dragon's cave. Win the Pinky And The Brain mini-game to win the glass.

Night-Vision Goggles: They are in King O'Sullivans Mines. O'Sullivan gives them to you once you have found the permanent light switch in the mine. To enter the mine, find all three pieces of the door key.

Proton Accelerator Pack: You get this from Boogor in Spooky Movie. He is just inside the front door to the mansion. The Proton Accelerator Pack is a long distance weapon.

Scuba Mask: Talk to Duffy Fish at the start of Once Upon A Time and he will give it to you. The Scuba Mask allows you to swim underwater.

Shovel: There is a mouse cage outside the back of the mansion in Spooky Movie, near the roller ghoster entrance. Win the Pinky And The Brain mini-game to win the shovel. The Shovel is used for digging up buried treasure.

Suction Cups: You get them in Ye Old West, outside the Prospector's Mine. Talk to Ol' Skookum Jim near the entrance to the mine. The Suction Cups allow you to climb walls with paw prints on them.

A great 3-on-3 team that you can choose when you first start is Hot Sauce, Spyda, and J.K. Hot Sauce can do the tricks and alley-oops, Spyda can score a ton of points, and J.K. can hit 3-pointers. However, mostly J.K. can stuff the snuff out of people going for a dunk or lay-up.

In the other area when you break things for points, go through area where you jump boards then over dirt mounds. Go in the buildings. One building has a hidden part. Turn in other buildings to break wooden crates for lots of points.

When delivering a bike and Cass and his gang appear, they will try to knock you off your bike by swerving in front of you. This causes you to wipe out, losing 200 style points and a large amount of your bike's health. To avoid losing style points, wiping out, and damaging your chopper, press R1 (the front brake). Cass or one of his friends will hit you, but they will fall off their bike and you will receive 150 style points.
# Defeating Iron Horse

When you are racing against Iron Horse, try to get close to as many cars as possible. This will earn 75 style points for each car you get close to without hitting. This will allow you to get more style points than Iron Horse. Remember you must stay ahead of him in speed.

# Defeating Paavlo

You will fight Paavlo, Drowns, and Burrowers before going on the spaceship. At first you must fight him in sword mode. Keep hitting him and after you get him to about one third health, he sends Drowns in sets of three for four times in a row. After that, you will fight him again. After a little below half health, he will pull out a cylinder with lasers on high and on low (meaning that some lasers are on the bottom and the others are on the top). After that, you fight him again. When he has very little health, he sends out Burrowers in a group of two then a group of three. Fight and defeat him again and he leaves as in the other times.

After Paavlo gets on to the platform for the second time, immediately run to the door to the sync node. It will make four beams, two high and two low. Run into the side of the door and turn the camera around while running away from the center of the place. You should now only have to jump whenever a high beam comes around. It may seem like the low beams will hit you, but they will not.

In the first Boss battle with Paavo, when the rotating beams appear, morph to stealth form and crawl to the edge of the damaged runway (directly under Paavo). The beams will pass over you - there is no need to jump or dodge.

In the final Boss battle against Paavo, in the first series use the following forms: Red = Stealth; Purple = Sword; Blue = Gun Form. When he folds his cannons in, an indicator will appear around his pod. Click the Right Analog-stick to activate time dilation attack. In the second series, fight him as you did in the previous two battles. In the third series, this is just a game of "Pong".

When playing an away game, hit a homerun and press L3 when running the bases to taunt the crowd.
# Homerun celebration

Press R1 when you are running the bases after hitting a homerun. Your player will blow kisses to the crowd. If you continue pressing R1, your player will jump on home plate.
# Easy points

Start a two player game, with only one actual player. Throw a perfect game, striking out every batter. Save the game in the bottom of the ninth inning with two strikes and two outs. Finish the game, collect your points, and save the options. Reload the game and repeat to collect the points again. Also, change to the team that you are facing and make them play poorly, allowing your original team to score a lot of runs. In the last inning, switch back to your team and claim your team's cheaply made points.
# Easy homeruns

When controlling Barry Bonds at bat, press the Square so that you are on "Power" and not "Contact". When you are on "Power", only the yellow box will appear, and when you are on "Contact", there will be a shaded area covering the yellow box. If the pitch is up and in, move the box there and swing. It will almost always be an automatic homerun.
# Easy win

Start a game with and set the skill level on anything except "Manage Only". Pause gameplay go to "Controller Select". Switch the controller to the team that you want to lose. Then, go into "Team Management" at the pause screen. Change the pitcher and the fielders to the wrong positions. You can also put pitchers in as pinch hitters. Then, return to "Controller Select" and change back to your original team. The CPU may switch the players around, but you can put the wrong ones in again. You will not get any card points if you play the entire game with the losing team. Note: There is a slight chance of your game freezing if player positions are swapped too often.
# Easy scoring at Pac Bell Park

Try to hit the ball to the right-center field corner. If your man has speed and you are on third before the ball gets to the cutoff man, run home. The cutoff man should throw it to the catcher, and most of the time he gets down in a stance to block the plate. When he does this, press L2 and you will stop. When he gets out of his stance, continue going home and you will be safe.
# Free balls

If you are down in the count or need a quick ball, pretend to lay down a bunt. Pull back while the pitcher is in his motion. This should result in a ball being thrown. Note: This only works up to two times in an at bat.
# Throw hard 4 seam fastball correctly

If you have a pitcher or created player that throws a hard 4 seam fastball, always place the pitching cursor below where you want the pitch to go. The pitch will automatically rise after the pitcher releases it. However, with other pitches (curveball, slider, changeup, etc.) the ball will end up where you put the pitching cursor.
# Restore pitcher's energy

Wait until your pitcher has low energy then pause game play. If your pitcher is still on the mound, go to "Save Game and Quit", then save the game. Restart the system, and when you go to the main menu, load the game. When you finish loading, it should automatically take you back to the game, and it should show your pitcher on the mound with the full green energy bar.
# Slide step

Use this trick to do a slide step. When your pitcher is in the stretch, select a pitch, and before you press Pitch, hold the Left Analog-stick.
# Pick off from the catcher

When the ball is released, hold L1 and the base that you would like to throw the ball to. The catcher will then snap up and throw the ball to the selected base. Note: This only works when you are pitching.
# View player's energy in franchise mode

When at the main menu in franchise mode, go to "GM Office", then "Roster Management", then "Disabled List". Press X and look through your players to see which ones are tired (except pitchers). If a starting player is tired, you should bench and rest him for one game.
# Change jerseys in franchise mode

Before playing in a franchise mode game, go to quick play, and on the team's options highlight "Change Uniform". Go back, exit quick play, load the franchise, and when you get to the play game screen on options, your pointer will be on the blacked out uniform part. Press X and you can change uniforms. Once you change lineups or pitchers, this option is no longer available; it only works for that one game.
# Better players

Select the "Extras" option at the main menu, then choose "Player Management". On that screen is a category called "Player Editor". It allows you to improve players. In season mode, go to "GM", then choose "Player Management", then "Player Editor". Note: Making a player all A+ may result in the game freezing in later innings.
# Demote player without other teams claiming him off waivers

Go to the player editor and make all his stats to D- so that no teams would want to claim him off waivers. When you want to promote a player back to the Major Leagues, change his ratings back to his default settings.

# Cheat menu

At the controller selection screen, press L1 to activate cheats that have been bought.
# Taunt opponents

Hit a homerun and on the way to third (after replay), press L1 or R1. Your player will taunt the other team's players.
# Infinite points

You can gain points for certain feats performed during a game. You can use these points to buy cards which unlock cheats, stadiums, jerseys, producers, and players. An easy way to get a lot of points is to throw a perfect game. This is worth 100 points. Switch controls every time the CPU is up at bat and intentionally strike out. This will get you points for 27 strikeouts, and for a perfect game. Repeat this as many times as needed to get an unlimited amount of points.
# Extra points

To get more points in franchise mode to sign your free agents, during the off season either create a player and pick him up as a free agent or sign free agents and release them at the end of the season.
# Better hitting

Immediately after the pitcher releases the ball, press Start. You will see where the ball is going and if it will be a strike or ball. Resume the game and move your batting cursor over it to get a nice powerful swing. Note: You do not need to press Start directly after the pitcher lets go of the ball -- it just gives you more time to move your cursor after the game is resumed. Use the pause technique before batting. When you see where the ball is going, try your best to get the ball as close to the point of the contact triangle (the part closest to the batter, not the thick part of the triangle). You will usually get homeruns or at least doubles.
# Better pitching

The best pitchers have a pitch called a "Slurve" (for example, Mark Burhele of the Chicago White Sox). Also try the "Dominate Curve" with Pedro.
# Restore pitcher's energy

In season, franchise or expansion mode, go to the DL, and put any pitcher on the 15 day DL. Then immediately take him back into your lineup. He will have recovered all of his energy.
# Better franchise or expansion mode teams

Use trades to get rid of your older less talented players for slightly better players. Even if the CPU rejects your trade, keep trying repeatedly and it will usually eventually accept it. However, make the trade reasonable, such as a B- player for a B or B+ player. If the player you really want just does not seem to want to join your team, try trading for another player who is slightly better, then return to that player you want and try again. Do this every season to keep good young players.
# Control homerun replay

After hitting a homerun, a replay of it will be displayed. When you see your batter heading home from third base, press various buttons to see different camera angles.
# Thom Brennaman's stories

Start a game and allow the controller to remain idel. After a few minutes after they have announced the lineups and the starting pitcher, Thom Brennaman will start telling in-depth stories about baseball.

Aliens vs. Predator: Extinction

Enter "ROYGBIV" as a player name under the options menu to unlock all levels, mini-games, and hats. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear the sound of a foghorn.

Successfully complete level 1-5 and the Super Soviet Missile Master mini-game will be unlocked after the intermission sequence.
# Bonus life

Dig next to a flower to get an extra life.
# Indestructible bus in Level 1-2

You will be brought into the level on a bus. You will then get out and the two cars surrounding the bus have the triangle button pointing to them to climb in; however they do not point to the bus you rode in. If you get into that bus it is practically indestructible. It also destroys other cars in one hit. Watch out for the helicopters dropping bombs; they are the only thing that can destroy the car.
# Chicken hat in Level 1-4

Destroy the Benemoth building. You should hear a foghorn sound to indicate that the hat has been unlocked.
# Curly hair in Level 1-4

Destroy the "Fish Are Like Plants" building. You will hear a foghorn sound once the building is destroyed, and the curly hair will be unlocked.
# Desert trap in Level 3-2

There is a flower in the sand; however, if you try to dig down to get it, a big green thing will eat you before you can take it.
# Extra lives in Level 3-4

After fighting the Boss (giant green robot with the eye and a fork and knife) and his life reaches zero, he will start exploding. Continue shooting at his eye. He will just continue exploding as long as you shoot, and you will continue gaining points. You can stop when you have about 60,000 points. At the end of the level, you will gain about seventeen lives.

Go into the options menu and enter one of the following names as a player name. Select "Submit", and you will hear the sound of a foghorn if you entered the code correctly. Go into the hat menu and the corresponding hat will be unlocked:

# Replenish heath

If your health is low and Sydney is breathing like she is tired, get away from all targets and wait for awhile. Her health meter will go back up. Note: This may take awhile.
# Elevator code in Asylum

On the Asylum mission, there is an elevator. The code for the elevator is "4747". You can get the code by talking to Neil Caplain, who is located in one of the padded cells.
# Getting DNA in Asylum

When you are trying to get the man's DNA and must follow him, once you get in the room with all the picnic tables go to the right side of the door and stand there. He will walk by time after time until you get all of his DNA. You will then fight him, escape from the Asylum, then move on to the Embassy level.
# Fire alarms in Embassy

When at the end and you have to turn on all the fire alarms, one of them is in Basement 2. Note: After you turn on all the alarms you must hurry to the ballroom and fight three men, then find Dixon and escape.

# Cheat mode

Pause the game and press Left Analog-stick Up(2), Left Analog-stick Down(2), Right Analog-stick Left, Right Analog-stick Right, Right Analog-stick Left, Right Analog-stick Right, L3, R3. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Damage will be repaired and you will have full missiles. Note: This code can only be enabled one time per mission.
# Completion bonuses

Successfully complete the game, then start another game with your file to begin with all airplanes (including bonus planes), medals, money, stats, FMV sequences, and replay levels that were previously unlocked.
# Bonus planes

Successfully complete the game and save when prompted. Use that saved game to continue a new game. Successfully complete the Blue Wing Knights mission, then choose another mission. Press Square at the aircraft selection screen to choose from the Vic-Viper and other bonus planes. The Vic Viper has a longer range machine gun that can destroy an enemy plane with one hit. Other bonus planes such as the TwinBee, MX5000, Falsion, Blue Thunder M-450, Manbou-J, Flint-Rock, Aura-Wing, Jerry Mouse, Block Shooter, Super Fighter, Penta, Axelay, and Poly will also be unlocked, depending on how well you performed in your cleared saved game. You can clear the game on the same file repeatedly to unlock more planes.
# Play as Ellen McNichol

Focus the game play with Ken. Every time you see Albert, shoot him down. Try shooting him down in every mission. If done correctly, Ellen will be unlocked for the space missions. Ellen has planes such as the Bird Of Prey.
# Easy money

To earn double money, kill enemies using the machine gun (not missiles or bombs). You can use those weapons to damage enemies, but the last hit must be delivered by the machine gun. Some air enemies will give more than double the money. When you finish the mission you will see the scoreboard, showing the enemies you killed with the machine gun with double of the money than normally awarded.
# Gradius reference

Play an Earth mission with the Vic Viper to hear music from level 4 of Gradius. Play a Space mission with the Vic Viper to hear music from Gradius 2.
# Self-destruct in the Vic Viper

While flying the Vic Viper, pause the game and press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, X, Circle. The Vic Viper will self-destruct when the game is resumed.

# Save resources

When you are allies with others, do not build a market to avoid giving them resources.
# More bases advantage

To have a better chance of winning, build more than one base. Enlarge the base you start out with, making it completely fortified with at least two castles. Then, send a scout cavalry, or some other fast moving unit, to the opposite side of the map from your base. After you have checked the area and confirmed that it is safe, send a villager to build a castle at that location and fortify that base. This is very helpful if your enemy knows where one of your bases are located, especially during online play.
